Our Institute operates in the territory of Mazara del Vallo,  where they reside, about 3000 immigrants, mostly from North Africa.

For these reasons the educational offer of the institute pays particular attention to the needs of students and to the territorial reality and is oriented to promote educational-didactic interventions aimed at intercultural dialogue.

There is a need for quality teaching, which knows how to "include" differences, enhancing them. A teaching based on the transmission of intercultural principles.

Given that Mazara is a bridge city in the Mediterranean, we considered it appropriate to start from the analysis and enhancement of the particular historical context of our city as it has always been a crossroads of cultures, for historical and geographical reasons
